Lieutenant Jeff Adcock is the Bureau Adjutant. He is responsible for overseeing the TRACS accident/electronic citation program, orders all equipment in relation to our patrol vehicles, liaison between State Court and the Police Department for traffic citation related issues, liaison between the County Clerk's Office and the Police Department, liaison between Fleet Management and the Police Department, serves on the Cobb Police Explorer Advisory Board, investigates complaints for Deputy Chief Houser, supervises the 60 member School Crossing Guard Uniti and supervises the 10 member Ranger Unit.

Ranger Unit
The Ranger Unit is located at 2245 Callaway Road. The supervisor of the Ranger Unit is a Sergeant who reports directly to the Uniform Bureau Adjutant. The primary mission of the Ranger Unit is the enforcement of state law and county ordinances on Cobb County Park properties, and other installations and locations at the direction of the Chief of Police
